Hi, I'm Ashleigh - the teacher at Miss IB Maths.
Welcome to my Maths corner!
I’ve been teaching maths for over 8 years, mainly in international boarding schools, and I’ve worked with students of all different abilities, backgrounds, languages and confidence levels.
I love to help my students understand maths properly, feel more confident in what they’re doing and, ideally, even enjoy it a little bit too!
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me outdoors - hiking, paragliding, scuba diving, ski touring, or exploring somewhere new with my Australian Shepherd, Blue.

Weekly Maths Lessons
60-minute lessons taught by a fully qualified secondary maths teacher, tailored to IB MYP, IGCSE, or IB DP.
Once or twice per week.
I offer my lessons in monthly packages so that I can guarantee progress in practice. One-off lessons are just not enough in maths! You need consistency and dedication to improve.
Support Between Lessons
Homework support and extra resources are given on a personalised Google Classroom for each student. Parents also have access to see what's going on.
I'm not only available during the one-hour lesson. You can always contact me for support and advice.
Progress Tracking
Monthly progress reports for parents, baseline testing with a full report, and curriculum-aligned feedback that show exactly where a student is improving and what comes next.
This is what I offer above what the average tutor can provide. A more complete approach to tutoring, combining personalised 1:1 teaching with the structured assessment, meaningful feedback and ongoing oversight of an experienced classroom teacher.
Exam-Focused Strategy
Targeted past-paper practice, detailed marking and examiner-informed strategies help students understand exactly what questions are asking, where marks are won and how to perform confidently under exam conditions.
